What is cardiac testing?

Cardiac testing is used to help stratify patients thought to be at risk for symptomatic coronary artery disease (CAD), specifically for short-term complications such as myocardial infarction (MI) or sudden cardiac death. User Instructions

  1. Bring all materials and specimens to room temperature. Open the foil pouch and place the device on a clean, dry and level surface
  2. Write the specimen ID on the test device and documentation level.
  3. Use disposable pipette to transfer 100ul or to deliver 3 drops of sample into the sample well.
    Always ensure that blood is properly homogenized before you transfer it to the test device.
  4. To guard against patient/result mismatches, enter patient details, date, and start time on the documentation level.
  5. Wait for 15 min. read the results and write the results on the documentation label.
